Belongings: This staff, which once belonged to his mother. An old, worn and thick book he uses to write in, filled with more handwritten pages than blank ones. A copy of the Celestial Record, also worn down. The clothing he's wearing.

Skills and Powers: Mikleo has skills using a staff in combat. He developed these to compensate against his usual sparring partner, Sorey, as Sorey is four inches taller than him and he needed the reach.

He has powers over the element of water. He can control water existing in the environment or conjure it out of thin air. Because of his affinity with ice, he's very good at cooking when it comes to cold treats (but not so much when it comes to something hot). He has a small ability to manipulate wind insofar as to move faster - windstepping. He has a sixth sense of when treasure is nearby.

He has healing abilities that function as such:
-he can heal many wounds if he's up close. The worse the wound, the more it takes out of him to heal because he's using his magical energy on it. Some wounds are too grievous even for him. He can't resurrect the dead.
-he can heal from a distance up to 20 metres, but only mild healing.

Note: Inside the library, Mikleo can be seen by all. Outside the library, however, he can only be seen by those with high resonance. Resonance works as following:

*Those with no resonance can't tell if hellions or seraphim are there.
*Those with a medium level can sense something is there and generally feel uneasy about it.
*Those with a high level can see things for what they really are.

Headcanon adds on these powers:

As a Prime Lord, he possesses the power to purify. Flames of Purification is the title of the power but in him they actually manifest as cleansing waters. This takes out the taint of evil and returns someone or something infected by malevolence back to what they once were. He can bestow these powers upon a human, creating a Shepherd. Other seraphim can swear oaths to him once he's bound to a Shepherd, making them Sub Lords who he can control the actions of if he sees it necessary.

In Zestiria's world, human evil generates a force known as malevolence. This is a taint that infects both seraphim and humans alike, as well as animals and even objects such as empty suits of armour. They become known as hellions at this point.

Sorey and Mikleo spent 17 years in Elysia before a human named Alisha showed up and changed their lives. She brought with her a hellion that was stalking her and who killed one of the seraphim in their family. This set them on a course of events that would lead Sorey and Mikleo to leave Elysia and journey with Sorey as a cleansing force to malevolence known as the Shepherd. They travelled with others who had their own powers to add to the cause, such as Lailah who gives Sorey the ability to purify in the first place.

They travelled to cleanse the land of malevolence and take down the one causing all of it, Heldalf. When Heldalf was finally taken down, Sorey went into a long sleep so that he could work with the seraphim Maotelus to slowly cleanse the land and raise the resonance of all humans so that seraphim and humans could live together. Mikleo has been waiting for Sorey to wake up for 300 years.

Headcanon >

The game leaves 300 years of Mikleo's life a complete blank. It's even up in the air how long passed - it's implied anywhere from 300 to 700 years. I choose to go with 300. As a result, I'm forced to develop headcanon to fill in the blanks. If you have any problems or questions with this, please let me know.

Here is what I'd like to use -

For twenty years, Mikleo watched the seal without ceasing. He tried to refuse to even leave the ruins, except when literally made to by friends. He seperated himself from the world and as a result time was passing him by. After these years he was forced to leave by the illness and eventual death of a close friend, Alisha. This brought him to the realization that everything was moving without him and he tried harder to make his world more than just Sorey from then on.

Even so he spent most of his time in Elysia for a hundred years after that. He didn't travel, he let others come to him. He was loath to leave the area where he could still check on the seal. It'd already been broken once, so why risk it again? But he spent a lot of time with family and everyone who visited him. He was living in the moment, rather than outside of it.

After this circumstances pushed him into becoming a Prime Lord and he left Elysia to travel with a shepherd. However, he had a horrible time because it felt wrong to travel with anyone who wasn't Sorey. So once the shepherd died and his duty was done with, he split ways and let someone else take over. At this time 175 years total had passed since Sorey went to sleep.

He went back to Elysia and started writing about the journey they'd all taken together with Sorey. He would make a book out of it and a couple years later it was finished. The book would end up published and almost as famous as the Celestial Record. Almost. He still carries around the original book it was written in, continuing to write every night, extending the story far past what anyone has ever seen. Maybe he'll publish a second one, someday.

Writing the book had made him nostalgic and he set out on a journey to revisit each of the ruins that the group had gone to together. After that, he started discovering new ones on his own. However, he never once went overseas, absolutely refusing to do so without Sorey. He wasn't going to be the only one living out their dream. Up until the library takes him he still travels, though occasionally going back to check on the seal. He can't leave it entirely behind.
